Nestled in 6 ¼ acres of lush vegetation our Cottage Hotel is a natural sanctuary for twenty–one (21) different species of tropical birds, flora and fauna.
We are a major stake holder in the tourism industry and recognize that our business has an important and significant role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for our guests and our nation as a whole.

To achieve this end our hotel is committed to taking the following actions:

  • To Operate our hotel observing and implementing sound Environmental Practices
  • To Conform to all legal Environmental Requirement and Regulations
  • To Minimize our use of Energy, Water and Materials of scarce supply
  • To Educate and Inform staff and guests of our hotel’s Environmental Policies, Practices and its acceptable activities
  • To Employ persons in and around our community to encourage social and economical development
  • To Work within and outside of the Tourism Industry to promote awareness and achieve wider environmental goals
  • To Invite our customers, suppliers and contractors to participate in our efforts to protect and enhance the environment
  • To Provide all employees with the training and resources required to meet our environmental objectives
  • To Monitor and Record our environmental performance yearly, relative to our policies, objectives and targets
  • To Maintain a continuous commitment to improved environmental practices
  • To Purchase local goods and services which are of no adverse effect to the hotel’s general operations or have a negative environmental or social impact
  • To Provide GG21 on a yearly basis with performance monitoring data
